30 March 2010 - Welshpool, Wales

12 April 2010 - Llandudno, North Wales

The Equality Act 2010 came into effect in  October 2010.  The new law replaced over 100 different pieces of legislation making the law easier to implement and understand.

The new Act harmonises and extends the scope and nature of protection from discrimination, harassment and victimisation on grounds of age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, religion and belief, race, marriage and civil partnership, and gender reassignment. These are known as the "protected characteristics".

This course is an ideal introduction to the Equality Act 2010 and focusses on what the law means across each of the protected groups.
